‘Carols by the Lake’ at Berry Reserve Narrabeen will be held on Sunday 16th December commencing at 6.45pm. Gates open from 6.00pm. Narrabeen Lakes provides the backdrop for the event which includes pre-entertainment by local artists, traditional carols, Kindifarm, glowsticks, Santa for the children and this year together with our sponsors a fireworks display as the finale to the night. The event is being sponsored by The Link Church, Warringah Council, Osborne Yuille, & Blue Sky Markets.

Glenn Wysman, organiser of ‘Carols by the Lake’, member of the Warringah Council Tramshed S355 Committee and Senior Pastor of The Link Church in Narrabeen says “‘Carols by the Lake’ was a huge success last year with over 1500 people attending the event. The Carols by the Lake is quickly becoming the Northern Beaches premier Christmas event that families will want to lock into their diaries every year!

A special part of Christmas are families and people coming together. Narrabeen Lakes, on a summer, Sunday afternoon in December, is the perfect place to have a picnic, sing carols and celebrate and relax with family and friends.”

In addition to the Carols a Christmas Link Appeal will be taking place.

The Link Christmas Appeal was launched on Sunday the 18th of November and concludes on the Carols evening, December 16th. The appeal is seeking monetary gifts to enable goods to be purchased to facilitate the provision of Christmas hampers to forty families & individuals in need on the Northern Beaches. The families & individuals have been identified through the Dalwood Spilstead Centre, Community Care Northern Beaches and Manly Warringah – Pittwater Community Aid. Phil Jackson, the local resident who is spearheading the Christmas Link appeal, explains: “We have asked  the organisations to advise us of families and individuals who would directly benefit from receiving hampers at this time of celebration. As a Christian I feel it is important for the church to be actively participating in the community and meeting needs of this nature.  By linking together, the church, community and businesses on the Northern Beaches can create a huge impact in the lives of families and individuals in need within our area.”

Donations to the Link Christmas Appeal can be made  by sending the below donation slip to the Link Church PO Box 208 Narrabeen or by bringing it to the carols event on the 16th where an offering will be taken up.
