MEET THE PASTORS
Glenn & Clare Wysman are the senior pastors of The Link Church. They have been married since 1995 and have three children.
Glenn was born in Manly on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and has lived, worked and played in the area all his life. Clare was born in Armidale, New South Wales and has lived in Armidale, Geelong – Victoria, Sydney’s Eastern suburbs and on the Northern Beaches.

Glenn & Clare first started in ministry on the anniversary of their first year of marriage. They began with joining the youth team at Northern Beaches Christian Centre and after a number of years Glenn was appointed youth pastor of the Church.
Glenn, together with Clare, experienced the group become a significant youth group on the Northern Beaches of Sydney. In 1999 Clare gave birth to their first child and together they handed over the position of pastoring youth. Throughout 2000 - 2004 Glenn and Clare ministered in a pastoral capacity at the church, coordinating and leading various small groups and services.
In 2004 Pastor Paul O’Sullivan, senior minister of Northern Beaches Christian Centre, released Glenn & Clare to start a Sunday night outreach in Narrabeen. After a period of nine months, from a small team of eight, the outreach grew and was planted as a church on the 7th of November 2004. Thus The Link Church was ‘born’.

The Link Church is a local church passionate about the Northern Beaches of Sydney, devoted to impacting all generations and reaching the world for Christ.

In January 2006 Glenn commenced on staff part time at The Link Church whilst running his own business. Prior to that Glenn trained as a pilot and worked in the corporate world for 15 years as a Product Manager.

Glenn has studied at Alphacrucis University College with a Diploma in Christian Leadership.

In 2015 Glenn joined ChristianityWorks, a global media ministry part time together with his role at The Link Church.
Clare studied at university level for six years, attaining an Arts degree with a double major in linguistics and psychology and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology). Since graduating as a Speech Pathologist in 1996 she has worked in both the public and private sectors, running her own private practice since 1999 which she currently runs part time along with her roles at The Link Church.

Glenn & Clare love our city and are passionate about seeing the community strengthened. Community events such as Carols by the Lake with over 10,000 people attending each year and Eggs by the Lake attracting thousands of people are some ways this passion is expressed.

Together with other Church members they have established in 2012 the Link Community Care program – a program that provides affordable groceries, fruit and vegetables at a low recovery fee. Services can be accessed by any low-income earner and holder of a Centrelink benefit card. The program currently assists over 1450 families. This program has received wide support and has featured on Channel 7’s Today Tonight program and Channel 9 with Jamie Durie.
During the Pandemic in 2021 they received an Outstanding Community Service Award from NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian & Minister Rob Stokes.

The journey continues…..
GIVING
"The point is this: whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
– 2 Corinthians 9:6-7
